6 Patient Recruitment Companies Operating in Asia-Pacific in 2026
Finding and enrolling eligible participants remains one of the most common reasons clinical trials fall behind schedule, and a patient recruitment provider's job is to close that gap — identifying candidates, screening them against a study's criteria, and keeping enrollment on pace through advertising, referral networks, or direct outreach to registered volunteer pools. This kind of clinical trial recruitment service looks different market to market: in Japan it often runs through large web-based volunteer registries, while in Australia and New Zealand it increasingly runs through digital advertising and general-practitioner referral platforms. Sponsors running multi-country studies across Asia-Pacific typically need a trial recruitment vendor with a working knowledge of local advertising channels, ethics requirements, and patient outreach norms.
The patient recruitment companies below, headquartered in Japan and Australia, are listed in no particular order. Between them, these companies and providers cover web-based volunteer registries, social-media advertising, general-practitioner referral networks, and guaranteed-recruitment models, supporting sponsors and sites across a range of therapeutic areas.
3H Medi Solution
3H Medi Solution runs Seikatsu-Kojo WEB, a clinical trial information platform the company says has built relationships with more than one million potential participants in Japan, driving enrollment of more than 10,000 subjects per year. Founded in 2009 in Tokyo, the company also operates the sister site Oncolo for oncology-focused recruitment and established an international team, CROèe Global, in 2017 to serve English-speaking sponsors running trials in Japan. Its services extend beyond recruitment into patient retention, site selection, and feasibility studies, drawing on channels that include online advertising, newspapers, flyer inserts, and event promotions. The company states it has also built relationships with hospital-generated patient databases across more than 400 sites in Japan.
Clinibase
Clinibase manages the recruitment process for clinical trial sites across Australia and New Zealand, handling participant screening, appointment scheduling, and advertising campaigns run through channels including Facebook and Instagram. The company describes itself as Australia's largest full-service recruitment provider in the clinical trial sector, and its Clinibase Pulse platform gives sponsors and sites real-time visibility into recruitment performance. As of November 2025, the company reported having recruited more than 3,000 trial participants across more than 30 sites and 45 trials spanning 25 therapeutic areas. Clinibase has operated in the sector since at least 2018.
Clinrol
Clinrol was appointed Citeline's strategic clinical trial partner across the Asia-Pacific region in 2023, combining its recruitment and advertising experience with Citeline's clinical trial intelligence data to identify and engage eligible patients. Founded in Sydney in 2020 by Arjun and Ram Bhat, the company runs an AI-driven patient identification, prescreening, and referral platform, and by late 2025 reported supporting recruitment across more than 100 trials in 12 countries. Canopy Clinical Research, one of Australia's clinical research site networks, adopted Clinrol's platform in 2026 as its preferred recruitment technology across five locations. Clinrol states that more than 30 percent of its referrals in recent campaigns have come from underrepresented population groups.
Evrima Technologies
Evrima Technologies runs a suite of clinical trial recruitment products — Evrilink for recruitment tracking, Evripath for GP patient referrals, and Evriquest for recruitment marketing services — used by trial sites and sponsors across Australia. Founded in 2019 and led by CEO Charlotte Bradshaw, the company has run pilot recruitment projects with partners including StrongRoomAI, Paratus Clinical, and TrialsWest to expand patient identification through GP and pharmacy networks. Evrima cites an Australian government report finding that 90 percent of trials in the country experience recruitment delays, a problem it says its platforms are built to address. The company also showcased its vaccine trial recruitment work at the 2024 World Vaccine Congress.
TrialFacts
TrialFacts built its business around what it calls the Recruitment Guaranteed Method, a six-element process the company uses to commit to a set number of participants for a study before recruitment begins. Founded in 2006 and based in Melbourne, the company serves academic researchers, pharmaceutical sponsors, contract research organizations, and research sites, and states it has built a community of more than 100,000 registered participants. TrialFacts combines marketing and advertising work with clinical trial experience to design recruitment campaigns that adhere to GCP and Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) requirements. Its due-diligence process for a new study, which determines how many participants the company can commit to, is completed within one week of a sponsor's request.
UNICS
UNICS recruits volunteers for clinical trials in Japan on behalf of research partners, including a 2022 exclusive business partnership with the Aioikai medical corporation that made UNICS its dedicated participant-recruitment partner. The Tokyo-based company, founded in 2011, reported more than 40,000 registered trial volunteers as of the partnership announcement, a base it built through its call-center and customer-support operations. UNICS runs its recruitment work alongside a smaller product and supplement retail business. The company states its aim is to make clinical trial participation approachable for people encountering the concept for the first time.
