Eurofins Bioanalytical Services operates as a biologics-focused division within Eurofins' broader BioPharma Services group, offering PK/TK, ADA, NAb, and biomarker assay development, validation, and sample analysis. The company states it draws on more than 20 years of scientific expertise supporting both preclinical (GLP) and clinical (GCP) studies for large and small molecule programs. QPS Holdings

The company states its team has grown to more than 150 scientists and analysts across laboratories in Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney, offering LC-MS/MS bioanalysis, immunoassay testing, and toxicology services. Healius Limited acquired Agilex Biolabs in 2022.

Alderley Analytical

Alderley Analytical is a GLP/GCP-compliant bioanalytical CRO founded in 2014 at Alderley Park in Macclesfield, England, offering bioanalysis for small molecules, peptides, oligonucleotides, and large molecules across discovery, preclinical, and clinical development. Mercodia

Mercodia was founded in Uppsala, Sweden in 1991 by chemist Erling Holmlund, building on his prior immunoassay work in diabetes and cardiovascular disease at Pharmacia Diagnostics, and today combines its own ELISA kit manufacturing with GLP-compliant bioanalytical services for cardiometabolic drug programs. The company states it has led more than 200 cardiometabolic bioanalytical studies and operates a service laboratory in Winston-Salem, North Carolina alongside its original Uppsala site. Mercodia's core focus areas include diabetes, obesity, and related cardiorenal-metabolic conditions.

Nexelis, a Q² Solutions Company

Nexelis was formed in 2015 as a spin-out of GSK's Vaccine Clinical Laboratory Services unit in Laval, Quebec, and built out its immunology-focused bioanalytical and assay development business through acquisitions including AIT Bioscience, ImmunXperts, and PAIRimmune. The company states its assays have supported the FDA filing of nearly 350 new molecular entities, including vaccines, biologics, and gene and cell therapy products. Q2 Solutions, a subsidiary of IQVIA, acquired Nexelis from Ampersand Capital Partners in 2022.

Cirion BioPharma Research

Cirion BioPharma Research is a Laval, Quebec-based bioanalytical and central laboratory CRO that the company states has operated in clinical trial support for more than 30 years, with particular expertise in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic and immunogenicity testing for biosimilars and biologics. Cerba HealthCare acquired Cirion in September 2023 to expand its own bioanalytical capabilities and strengthen its North American presence. At the time of the acquisition, Cirion employed more than 80 people, including PhD holders and medical specialists.

ProtaGene

ProtaGene formed through the unification of Protagen Protein Services and GeneWerk, combining protein-based analytical work with vector integration site analysis (ISA) for cell and gene therapy safety monitoring. The company operates laboratories in Heidelberg, Dortmund, and Heilbronn, Germany, as well as Burlington, Massachusetts, and in 2026 its Heidelberg site received CAP accreditation for CLIA-compliant integration site analysis on human samples. ProtaGene supports both preclinical characterization and commercial patient safety testing for cell and gene therapy products.

Bienta

Bienta began in 2011 as a contract research laboratory that Enamine opened for biological screening and ADMET testing at its research site in Kyiv, Ukraine, and now operates as a specialized CRO division offering high-throughput screening, bioanalytical, mass spectrometry, and in vivo testing services. The company maintains a dedicated HTS laboratory in Riga, Latvia and a representative office in the United States, supporting early preclinical work across pharmaceutical, biotech, nutrition, and animal health programs. Bienta operates alongside Enamine's broader chemistry and drug discovery services.
