Vendor Qualification Assessment (VQA) Library launched

Clinical trial sponsors can now access existing Provider VQA reports through the Diligent Qualification Platform for a faster way to evaluate service and technology Providers

September 29, 2022 – We are delighted to announce the Vendor Qualification Assessment (VQA) Report Library has now been added to the Diligent Qualification Platform! The VQA Report Library will save time and resources for both clinical trial Sponsors and service/technology Providers.

This newly launched feature rapidly provides comprehensive and independently verified information for Sponsors’ provider qualification and risk management processes, allowing them to save time when evaluating service and technology providers.

When a Clinical Service Provider is assessed by Diligent Pharma, the Auditor’s VQA report is uploaded to the platform – with any sponosor-specific details redacted – so that other trial Sponsors can request access to it. The associated Provider will then be notified via email and chooses whether to release the report.

Sponsors have the advantage of receiving an independent quality assessment report very quickly, while Providers maintain control of who can see their company’s RFI or VQA information. The Diligent VQA Library also means Providers can reduce the number of VQAs they need to host as existing reports can be shared across multiple sponsors, making their services more easily visible to trial sponsors.

The first completed VQA reports have been uploaded to the Platform, and more are being added all the time.

In addition to the new VQA Library, the Diligent Qualification Platform now offers more subscriber metrics and displays available RFI counts, VQA counts and platform credits as users navigate around the platform. For example, the VQA Library page shows the number of new VQA requests available, as well as users’ current Platform Credits.
